BHILAI: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bhilai, was adjudged first in day-cum-boarding school in Chhattisgarh. The school also secured an all India rank 24 by obtaining 1,066 points in ‘Education World India School Rankings 2015’ survey conducted by centre for forecasting and research (C-fore), a Delhi-based market research agency, which conducts surveys of leading educational institutions in the country.
‘Education World India School Rankings 2015’ awards were given away at a ceremony held at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka in New Delhi, on September 26. School principal Parshant Vashishta received the award.
The survey is conducted on the basis of perceptual polls, a globally established process, in which an intelligently weighted base of knowledgeable respondents is quizzed on their assessment of institutions across various parameters.
The parameters are teacher welfare and development, competence of faculty, academic reputation, co-curricular education, sports education, life skills education and conflict management, individual attention to students, leadership management quality, safety and hygiene, infrastructure provision, internationalism, value for money and community service.
